One of the first songs I learned to play was “it was a new day yesterday, but it’s an old day now” from Stand Up. But one of my faves is Minstrel in the Gallery”, a sleeper that totally jams.
I'm listening to it for the first time ... what a different sound! Blues and heavy rock, and I didn't expect the harmonica. And Ian sounds a lot like Jack Bruce. I definitely need to make time to listen to more of their stuff, too.
Setting aside my flute bias, a lot of Jethro Tull's stuff is amazing to me.
