for a band of this caliber, i would personally expect their live recordings: if not the starter Radical Action, then perhaps Absent Lovers or Vrooom Vrooom - the best is always performed live

The live recordings of Emerson, Lake and Palmer (Lake had once been a member of King Crimson) certainly tried to live up to that standard.

It seems to be getting a fair amount of attention still in prog-land... but that may be even further from the mainstream than it was back in the '70s.
