I would have agreed with you, but then I saw the track listing for *Uh-Huh*. "Authority Song" is probably my top choice most days. I'm hedging a lot there because I don't know anything beyond what I heard on the radio, and I've forgotten many of those songs.

He was big when I was on high school, but I didn't appreciate the guy til later on. Kenny Aranoff is one of rock's greatest drummers.
Great song. Not sure why, that line "But I know I'm a really good dancer" always grabs my attention and amuses me. Part of the story he's telling.
This is my favorite Mellencamp track. I also loved the video back in the 80s and loved his dancing! Super cool!

That's a great song too! "Pink Houses" was also a massive hit.
