"Spirits" hit high on the charts for the Bee Gees in 1979, but they were not ever to chart so high in North America, at least, again. But in the 1980s they continued to write and produce many hits for other artists.
I love the last two sentences of your penultimate paragraph! And I also love this album! It’s one of the first two albums I ever bought with my own money (along with Neil Diamond’s “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers”)
Love shows up in unexpected places and ways. If you haven’t seen the BeeGees documentary, I highly recommend it. And grab a tissue box. It’s a deep walk down memory lane.

Thanks for the shout out Jackie! And don't give up, all!

I had forgotten how good this song is. I heard ‘Tragedy’ the other day and along with this I need to get them back on the old playlist.

My favorite from that album was "Tragedy" but "Too Much Heaven" is pretty great!
Tragedy is a great tune. My favorite of the bros.
