Then again, I was also surprised to discover that Chicago's "Make Me Smile" was derived from a longer album piece called "Ballet For A Girl In Buchannon" or some such thing.
I listened to that album SO MANY TIMES as a teenager. I suspect the veritable symphony on the third side is what piqued my slightly later interest in progressive rock. Thanks for the reminder of Jeff Lynne's brilliance!
